The HC-V700 can shoot images up to 6MP in size and with the Crystal Engine PRO, it instantly processes the huge amount of data that goes into Full-HD images, and further enhances Full-HD quality. It produces smooth, high resolution zoom shots even when the range exceeds the limit for optical zooming.  Crystal Engine PRO clearly delineates even the tiniest details of your subject, with extremely natural beauty.  New noise reduction (NR) technology minimizes noise when recording in low lighting conditions, while Intelligent Resolution Technology ensures sharp, bright, beautifully coloured motion images.  The V700 is also capable of shooting 3D video with an options lens.  it has a stereo 2 channel zoom mic,  AE/AF tracking, has a built in LED Video light, a cold shoe for accessory light, and a port for an external mic.
